About
Bloem (bluːm: the Dutch word for 'flower' or 'flowering plant') is a multidisciplinary experiment in nature. We are a studio based practice specialising in seasonal, sculptural, and contemporary design. We grow a quarter of an acre of our own speciality cut flowers that we carefully curate and collect. We design and grow in Adjala-Tosorontio Township, 1hr north of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. Our services are semi-seasonal and include styling + editorial, brand activation, and weddings & events.
Susannah van der Zaag is a floral designer with a background in fashion photography and sculpture. Her work has been exhibited internationally.
